At the School of the Sacred Heart we learn to love God and neighbor. Jesus loves us and deserves to be loved. Let us love him! Let us have compassion for all, except for Jesus. Mary is the only one who can hold God’s wrath. Also Mary drank from the cup of passion. Meditation increases our desire for perfection. Love is the irresistible desire to possess the Beloved. Let us nourish a keen desire to possess Jesus. The person who loves anticipates the desire of the Beloved. Let us cultivate in ourselves the desire to belong only to Jesus. Willing must make up for our desire. Pray, pray, pray so that Jesus may infuse love and humility in you. Ask for faith, ardent desires, hunger and thirst for Jesus. If you wake up during the night, direct a thought, a desire to Jesus. Jesus in the Sacrament looks at you, waits for you and desires you! Jesus longs ardently to come into your heart. Meditation is intended to make us long for Jesus Christ. Let us rekindle our desire to seek Jesus. We must grow in desiring sanctity. Desire gives wings to the will. Prayer is effective when accompanied by desire. The will which desires flies toward what it desires. The more we know Jesus the more we ling for him. Let us strive to desire the greatest good. Let us desire and implore the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to make you as He likes. Jesus is the salvation of those who call upon him and desire him. O Jesus, I love you with all my heart and I wish that everyone may love you. The Word of God cannot enter into the hearts of those who do not want it. Jesus is in our soul like a thirsty person who longs for water.
